Diving & Safety
Can I come and dive alone (Solo Traveler)?
Absolutely! Many of our guests are solo travelers. You don't need to bring a partner to dive with us:
  • Buddy System: We will pair you with another diver of similar experience or you will dive directly with one of our professional guides.
  • Social Atmosphere: Our dive center is a great place to meet fellow ocean lovers from all over the world.
  • No Minimum Guests: We run our daily boat trips even if you are the only diver booked for that session (subject to weather and schedule).
What is the dive group ratio (buddy team) at Rubiah Tirta Divers?
Safety and personal attention are our priorities. Our standard ratio is:
  • Maximum 4:1 — We keep a maximum of 4 divers per professional guide to ensure everyone is well-supervised.
  • Small Groups — We often group divers based on experience levels so you can enjoy the dive at a comfortable pace.
  • Private Guide — Private 1-on-1 guiding is available upon request for those who prefer extra assistance or specific underwater photography needs.
How long does it take to reach the dive sites from the dive center?
One of the best things about Rubiah Tirta Divers is our location. Most of the world-class dive sites are just 5 to 15 minutes away by boat. The furthest sites take no more than 20-30 minutes, allowing us to return to the center for comfortable surface intervals.
